Kattovit Feline Diet - KIDNEY/RENAL has been specially developed to provide cats with a reduced protein content by using high-quality proteins in an easily digestible composition. High levels of protein can be harmful to the kidneys. The decisive factor here is the protein content in relation to the amount of energy. With Kattovit KIDNEY/RENAL, only about half of the energy is provided by proteins. The enrichment with potassium citrate has an alkalizing effect on the urine and can thus prevent the formation of oxalate crystals (oxalate prophylaxis). Phosphorus and sodium levels are reduced.
